ALSaversarie

It’s been a year since I was diagnosed, In that time I have learned the following:

I don’t want to die, but I’m not as afraid of dying as I used to be.

I am loved.

I am loved for who I am, not what I can do.

Choosing to live in spite of ALS is harder than just surviving with ALS.

Despite all the loss I still have so much more so lose, and that’s scary.

It’s hard, and sometimes you need help, but life is all about choices. I choose to remain hopeful for a future. I choose to embrace my disability. I choose to be happy and grateful for the life have.
