This is not the first post I envisioned For 2025. I had planned to start with resolutions, but I find that myself pondering a question I’ve had for almost a decade. As I enter what is statistically my last year of life, I don’t think I’ll be able to get the answer through reading books / articles or watching videos…..so I’ll ask:

How can one be a Christian and vote for Trump and support Republicans?

I’m not asking with malicious intent, And I don’t want to debate. I am truly looking for an answer.

I recently read / studied the sermon on the mount and I don’t understand how the ideals, policy, and actions of the current president is compatible with the teachings of Jesus. Please help me to understand.
